Dear Maintainer,
Current kernel message verbosity during Debian boot significantly
ability to identify critical system alerts, with important messagesquickly
lost in the noise. This situation presents challenges for both newand
experienced users; newcomers may find the volume of informationdaunting and
misinterpret its importance, while seasoned users may struggle toquickly
pinpoint vital warnings or errors. To address these concerns, it isproposed
that the default kernel log level be set to "Warning." Thisadjustment will
streamline the boot process, making critical messages more visibleand less
likely to be overlooked. Such a change not only aids in diagnosingand
troubleshooting by highlighting essential alerts but also enhancesthe boot
experience for all users by focusing on the most pertinentinformation.
