Bug#1065178: python3-pil: Installation of python3-pil should not trigge

Package: python3-pil
Version: 9.4.0-1.1+b1
Severity: normal
Dear Maintainer,
when the package python3-pil is installed (either directly or as a dependency), it depends on either mime-support or python3-pil.imagetk.
By default, the deprecated package mime-support will be installed.
I think it would be better to install python3-pil.imagetk by default.
Maybe it is sufficient to change the order of the two dependencies.
I noticed this because the host where I tried the installation
has a rule which automatically uninstalls deprecated packages like mime-support, and that also removed the desired python3-pil.
Regards,
Stefan Weil
