    The previous NMU patch fell afoul of debian/control.in and the debian/rules mapping between soup2 and soup3. Please find attached an improved patch.

    Dear maintainer,

    Please find attached a final version of this patch for the time_t
    transition. This patch is being uploaded to unstable.

    Note that this adds a versioned build-dependency on dpkg-dev, to guard
    against accidental backports with a wrong ABI.

    Thanks!

    Thanks for the patch!

    I have a question: soon I'll need to start transitioning the WPE
    packages to a new API (we were blocked by the reverse dependencies)
    which means libwpewebkit-1.1-0 -> libwpewebkit-2.0-0

    Shall I add the 't64' suffix to the new binaries for clarity or is it unnecessary? In principle they won't have a version without 64-bit
    time_t (unless there's a backport which I'm not planning to do).

    Please drop the t64 when bumping the soname, but keep the dpkg-dev
    versioned build-dep.

    Thanks,
