Hi Christoph,

on a fresh system:

# apt install postgresql-client
$ pgbench
Error: pg_wrapper: pgbench was not found in /usr/lib/postgresql/16/bin

The executable is in postgresql-16. So I would propose to either move /usr/bin/pgbench to postgresql or /usr/lib/postgresql/16/bin/pgbench to postgresql-client-16.

This has already been filed as https://salsa.debian.org/postgresql/postgresql/-/issues/1 .

I guess I should give it another try, the alternative symlink farms
were simplified a few postgresql-common versions back.
