• Bug#1067094: pacman-package-manager: FTBFS on armel/armh

From Luca Boccassi@21:1/5 to All on Mon Mar 18 13:10:01 2024
    Source: pacman-package-manager
    Version: 6.0.2-4.1
    Severity: grave

Pacman currently fails to build on armel/armhf, probably as a fallout
    from the time64 changes.

Given it seems extremely unlikely to be needed on those architectures,
given Archlinux doesn't even support them, I'd recommend to simply
build-depend on architecture-is-64-bit to drop all 32 bit arches
support, and revert the libalpm13 package rename that added the t64
    suffix.

    Hello,

Arch Linux ARM supports armhf/armel just fine, so I think this can work
with little to no patches. I haven't been able to take a look since the
t64 transition because I have been busy with other things. I will likely
have time tomorrow to fix this.
