• Bug#1065269: glibmm2.4: missing dpkg-dev (>= 1.22.5) build dependency f

    From Sebastian Ramacher@21:1/5 to All on Sat Mar 2 11:30:01 2024
    Source: glibmm2.4
    Version: 2.66.6-3
    Severity: serious
    X-Debbugs-Cc: sramacher@debian.org, vorlon@debian.org

    Thank you for uploading the changes required for the time_t transition. Unfortunately, the upload was missing dpkg-dev (>= 1.22.5) in
    Build-Depends. This leads to two potential issues:

    * The package is built with the wrong ABI.
    * The package migrates to testing before the change is enabled in
    testing and builds there would be produced against the wrong ABI.

    Please add dpkg-dev (>= 1.22.5) to Build-Depends and upload the new
    version ASAP.

    Cheers

    Dear maintainer,

    Please find attached a patch to add the dependency on dpkg-dev for the
    time_t transition. This patch is being uploaded to unstable.

    Thanks!
