for several days, the status of the debian translations are not
updated, it looks like the robot does not parse the lists (or does not
update the pages afterwards).
Example:
https://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po-debconf/de
lists slm still as pending, but the Report has already been filed in
the BTS (and this was sent to the list): >https://lists.debian.org/debian-l10n-german/2024/06/msg00021.html
And the overview page has been updated several times already …
Is there any issue known?

I cannot see anything yet.
The cron jobs on tye were fine for many weeks now...

So the pages on www.debian.org, like >https://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po-debconf/de
are currently not picking it up.
Can someone check the website part?

Apologies, I couldn't find time to look at this until today; now I see that the coordination page says "Last Built: Wed, Jun 26 15:35:49 UTC 2024 " and slm is in green 100%
Can anybody confirm if there is an issue or it solved by itself?

I can confirm it works again.
The robot status pages like <https://l10n.debian.org/coordination/german/de.by_status.html>
show, there is an open l10n bug for German for the slm package
existing, and this true, so debian.org should tell the same, but it
does not.
There is something definilety broken in the stats page, also for Spanish (ES) language:
BAD / NOT SYNCED
https://www.debian.org/international/l10n/po-debconf/es
GOOD / SYNCED https://l10n.debian.org/coordination/spanish/es.by_translator.html#Camale%C3%B3n
It's quite frustrating (that is, «dis-cou-ra-ging») for translators not getting accurate information on their job and, at least to me, these
kind of «madness things» makes me doing lots of duplicated work and tons
of errors.
If it were not because I DO (REALLY REALLY... I mean, «really») LOVE Debian's way of life, and all what it represents (software, people and philosophy) I would have quitted from helping with translations time
ago >:-P
I remember similar issues in the past: that errors in packages broke the updating of the status pages.
So, that's not an issue with the webpage!
Well, I'm a bit «tired» (read it «softly, in the right meaning) of translating po-debconf templates that are not being updated/uploaded,
for instance:

Not sure why these templates are not showing in the stats page as
«fully translated (100%)», not sure what I am missing here (?) because
BTS is done but files are not reaching unstable repository¹ or not
properly synced.

For this issue Helge already stated about some maintainers acting not optimal regarding translation update reports ...
Sadly!
Time is scarce, I do understand, but having a bug report with patch available opened for... 2 years? looks a bit overhelming :-)

Well... let's hope (finally) so and translation page soon reflects the
job done! :-)
Hello Holger,
could you also check the status of the German "bacula" translation?
In https://lists.debian.org/debian-l10n-german/2024/06/msg00131.html
it was linked to bug 1074469, which is (unfortunately) still open.
On the .org pages it is still listed as untranslated (even though it
also had the previous stages of itt, rfr etc.).

You should double-check, if the file sent to bug #1074469 is syntax-wise ok (aka: if the above error is fixed in that file), so that this problem gets solved, as soon as the package maintainer includes that file into his package!

I have downloaded the file bacula_13.0.4-3_de.po from >https://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=1074469.
msgfmt -c bacula_13.0.4-3_de.po reports no errors.
Are there additional tests I can run?
I quote from above:
Errors:The template bacula_13.0.4-3_de.po has just 80 lines.

po/de.po:299:5: invalid multibyte sequence

I do not understand the meaning of the strings as 297:70.
If this are the line numbers and the column numbers, is it possible that
the issue is within gettext?
The last line of bacula_13.0.4-3_de.po is an empty line. Can this be an >issue?
