hi,
I started with translating for german via ddtss. I lke perl, so the modules I reviewed/translated are about perl.
now I found one module, carton, which is noted on https://ddtp.debian.org/ddt.cgi?desc_id=130923 as not
translated to german. But I did not get it on https://ddtp.debian.org/ddtss/index.cgi/de.
why does this happen?
If you are interested in some specific packages, scroll down to
"Fetch specific description", type the package name, check the
"Force fetching even if not untranslated" checkbox and press Enter.
You will get the package you want for translation.
Currently for German we need at least two people to review a package description, to get it accepted by the system.
So, just one active person cannot do translation work at all!
And it seems to me I'm the only active German translator currently :-((
Yes, I do reviews too. Where do I find more about the review process?
Do you know details about charing/merging the packet descriptions from
Debian
and Ubuntu? They have a separate tool named 'launchpad' where also the >translation
of packet descriptions can be done. in my opinion it would be great if
both take profit
from each other.
