Hey,

Upstream k3b is searching for new maintainers, k3b is currently only in low level bugfixing and such a big change like switching away from cdrkit is out of scrope [1]. And it is too much work for the current Debian maintainers. Any help is welcomed.

The discussion started, as Debian won't ship cdrkit ( wodim and genisoimage) anymore in bookworm [#982221].
