Yes, KDE 5.25.4 is up and running. Everything fine, so far!

    Thanks for the feedback.

A bit less visible but we also had frameworks 5.96 a while back and 5.97 should follow around the time of its release if no particular problem arise.

    Happy hacking !

Can't really say the same. 25.4.3 had created some issues for me[1][2] that continued in 25.4.4, the devs say some are resolved in 25.4.5. So what are the plans for 25.4.5? Also, any plans for elisa 22.04.3 [3]?

I've read your bug reports. I also have been affected by Task Manager
issue. Now I realized, recent changes were not so positive after all :)

For me, Task Manager icons have become too small on 4K screen. I also
use vertical panel on which Task Manager is located. Panel has 256
    pixels width.
Before update, changing size of the panel was scaling icons in Task
Manager as well. Now, they are fixed in size.

    https://i.imgur.com/Mqd4ZrC.png

Icons used to be much bigger before. Now, they are a bit too small and I
have no way to change their size.
    Any solution for this?

IIRC, there used to be a way to change the icon size on the Task Manager's Appearance tab, but now it's gone. See if changing the "iconSpacing" setting helps, for me it didn't. Logging  out of KDE is needed for the change to take effect.

    1. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=457357
OK I’m backporting the fix to the Debian package.

    2. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=457379
Not clear to me. As far as I understand, the status RESOLVED DOWNSTREAM
means the devs thinks it’s not an issue in Plasma and are closing the
bug, *NOT* that it has been fixed.

Also your bug report is misleading to me. You describe it as a 3rd party
applet whereas it’s definitely a Plasma applet shipped with the Plasma
source code. For me 3rd party would be that you installed yourself from
    some other source.

    3. https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=457510

Yes it’s on my TODO list too. :)
There were some failing unit tests that I’ve discussed with the upstream developer who already fixed some. I’ll disable the remaining failing
    ones for now.

    Happy hacking !

I agree that it has not been fixed though I would like very much for it to be fixed.

That wasn't me. It was the KDE dev who responded and described the System Monitor widget as a 3rd party applet. I was surprised as well but was hoping the applet dev would clarify the issue: see https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=457379

    Ah, right.

Also it would help if you could get a screenshot of the "before" state. (Maybe on stable ?) Without having it for comparison it's a bit difficult to get an idea. The current state looks pretty reasonable.

That I cannot easily do. I've already overwritten the backup I had of the state before upgrading to 5.25, so it's gone for me now. Look at this picture https://bugs.kde.org/attachment.cgi?id=151052, then reduce the icon size to about the size of the text
next to it, the vertical size of each entry would also be reduced to maybe 70% of what it is now and that would be how it was before.

The current state looks pretty reasonable.

It's reasonable, just takes more space than it used to. You could probably increase the icon size even more by 10-20% and it would still look reasonable, just would take even more space.
