    Hello,

This really is a question for debian-boot, not debian-accessibility.

    Nick Gawronski, le jeu. 09 sept. 2021 05:18:12 -0500, a ecrit:
Using the DVD 1 with the non-free firmware gives me the message that the following firmware is not found iwlwifi-6000g2b-6.ucode and iwlwifi-6000g2b-5.ucode

Where is it giving this message?

and I have successfully installed on this system before
in the past with the non-free firmware with no problems.  This system is a bios
based system booting from the internal DVD burner.  I downloaded this image [1]
https://cdimage.debian.org/cdimage/unofficial/non-free/cd-including-firmware/ 11.0.0+nonfree/amd64/iso-dvd/firmware-11.0.0-amd64-DVD-1.iso so if the firmware
existed in earlier images why not this one?

    It is there, inside firmware/firmware-iwlwifi_20210315-3_all.deb

I guess debian-boot will like to see /var/log/syslog from inside the
installer, e.g. by mounting a USB stick by hand to copy it over.

    Samuel
