    Hi!

    The patch debian/porting/Add-xptcall-support-for-SH4-processors.patch hasn't been
functional for a long time. The patch adds the XPCOM stub and invocation code for
SuperH. However, the code as is no longer works as the code uses absolute jumps instead of relative jumps as required by the newer Firefox/Thunderbird codebase.

Furthermore, the patch also places the SH-specific code into a wrong location inside the source tree, i.e. mozilla/xpcom/reflect/xptcall/src/md/unix instead of the new location mozilla/xpcom/reflect/xptcall/md/unix. Plus, it also still patches the Makefile.in instead of using the more modern moz.build.

Thus, the patch is not functional in its current form and should therefore be removed. I will shortly provide an updated, working patch to add SuperH (sh4) support to Thunderbird.

    Thanks,
    Adrian
