Monark: The Ultimate Virtual Analog Synth
If you are looking for a software synthesizer that can recreate the pure organic sound of the legendary monophonic analog synths, look no further than Monark by Native Instruments. Monark is a hybrid synth that runs on both Windows and Mac OS X platforms,
and it is compatible with the powerful Reaktor framework.

Monark is based on meticulous research and modeling of the synth at the center of four decades of popular music, from electronic and hip hop to indie rock and beyond. It delivers the true sound of a synth as famous as the artists who used it, such as
Kraftwerk, Depeche Mode, Daft Punk, and many more.

Monark features three oscillators, a smooth filter and amp section, and essential fine tuning, modulation, and glide controls. It also reproduces the subtle nuances of analog circuits, such as the sound of wiring the headphone output into the VCF input,
and the oscillator and filter drift. Monark has super-snappy envelopes that make it easy to create stabbing melodic lines and punchy electronic drum sounds.

Monark uses the cutting-edge Zero-Delay Feedback technology to eliminate the sample delay normally produced when trying to digitally model analog circuits involving feedback, such as a resonant filter. This technology was developed by Native Instruments'
Vadim Zavalishin, who also created the low-level modular DSP framework of Reaktor Core that Monark is built upon.

Monark is not only the most accurate virtual analog synth available, but also a testament to Native Instruments' commitment to leading software instrument design into the future. You can download Monark v1.3.0.3 HYBRID WiN MacOSX R2R from various sources

    How to use Monark

Monark is easy to use and has a simple interface that lets you focus on the sound. To get started, you can choose from a variety of presets that cover different styles and genres. You can also create your own patches by tweaking the parameters and saving
    them for later use.

To load a preset or save a patch, you can click on the patch name at the top of the synth and browse through the categories and subcategories. You can also use the arrow buttons to navigate through the presets or use your MIDI controller to select them.

To create your own sound, you can start by adjusting the three oscillators. Each oscillator has a range knob that sets the pitch, a waveform selector that switches between sawtooth, triangle, pulse and noise waveforms, and a level knob that controls the
volume. You can also detune the oscillators by using the fine tune knobs or by modulating them with the LFO or the envelope.

You can mix the three oscillators using the mixer section, where you can also add feedback for more harmonic richness. The feedback knob sends the output signal back into the filter input, creating a feedback loop that can produce anything from subtle
    warmth to extreme distortion.

The filter section is where you can shape the tone and timbre of your sound. Monark has a classic 24 dB/octave low-pass filter with resonance and cutoff controls. The filter can be modulated by the envelope, the LFO, or the keyboard tracking. You can
also overdrive the filter by increasing the input level or by using the feedback knob.

The amp section is where you can control the volume and dynamics of your sound. Monark has a simple ADSR envelope that affects both the filter and the amp. You can adjust the attack, decay, sustain and release times of the envelope using the sliders. You
can also invert the envelope polarity for more creative modulation effects.

The control panel is where you can fine tune your sound and add some extra features. Monark has a glide control that lets you slide between notes for smooth transitions. You can also adjust the glide time and mode (legato or retrigger). Monark also has a
vibrato control that lets you add pitch modulation to your sound using the LFO. You can adjust the vibrato rate and depth using the knobs.

Monark also has some hidden features that you can access by clicking on the MONARK logo at the bottom of the synth. Here you can adjust some global settings such as tuning, polyphony, velocity sensitivity, and MIDI channel. You can also access some
advanced features such as oscillator sync, noise color, filter tracking, envelope looping, and more.
