• OpenBSD on sparc machine

    Hi,
I have installed OpenBSD on a Sun ultra 45 sparc machine and the installation went well. However on reboot the machine starts the graphics console and from then on is unusable as the text is scrambled. By scrambled , I mean unreadable and appears to
start in the middle of the monitor and wrap from the left. The graphics card is ATI based, I ssh'd in to the machine and checked the firmware and it seem to be there. I checked ttys and the terminal type is sun , which I think is correct. I've tried
Debian 7 and that works OK so there is nothing wrong with the video card.

Has anyone had similar issues or any suggestions?

    Glenn.
