I get on www.openbsd.org website several "groups" ending in .tgz
extension. Indicating gtar of course. Now in net install linux can this be
done with the BSD unixes linux open and net BSD? I want CLI and GUI access. What's the minimum to have to install to boot. I know base.tgz but it needs
to be installed from an enviornment.

This group is for NetBSD, not OpenBSD. Don't know about the latter but
the former has the following minimum set requirements for a new install:

base.tgz, etc.tgz, and a suitable kern-*.tgz set (GENERIC in most cases).

The latest can be gotten here:

    ftp://nyftp.netbsd.org/pub/NetBSD-daily

Try HEAD if you're installing to fairly new hardware.

OK sorry I misread the group. I thought it said OpoenbsdNetbsd. I see
now it's not a misc group for both.

Thanks much. But is there something that should be copied to a USB like an
ISO or something to boot by? That's where I'm having my troubles.
