• AIX 7.1 LDAP (AD) and local authentication

From Kurt Bremser@21:1/5 to All on Wed Oct 5 00:51:09 2016
    Hi community!

I am starting to install SAS on a newly set up AIX 7.1 server.
The crux is that some of the users (especially those that can do system administration) are administrated(authenticated) through Active Directory via LDAP, while some users and groups need to be kept locally.
What are the possible pitfalls, and how can I remedy them?

    - can I tell the system to look for the names and data of local (etc/group) groups first, before consulting LDAP?
    - the same for users?

From what I see on a client box, /etc/passwd is checked first then LDAP. I can't tell about/etc/group.
