  • Is busresolve still needed for PCI/PCIe drivers?

    I am trying to figure out why my driver config method fails at run time on AIX 7.1. Apparently busresolve() subroutine fails with E_DEVACCESS (47). There the not_res_list and conflict_list both come up empty. The failure occurs with both PCI and PCIe
    boards.

    If I bypass busresolve the driver seems to load OK.

    The same code used to work fine on AIX 5.2.
