UNIGROUP OF NEW YORK - UNIX USERS GROUP - MAY 2020 ANNOUNCEMENTS ================================================================

Unigroup's June 2020 Meeting is ON!

Unigroup is pleased to announce that we are working on our
June 2020 meeting, scheduled for Thursday evening 18-JUN-2020
(normal 3rd Thursday), probably starting at our normal time
(6:30-7:00pm).

This meeting will be Unigroup's first ever 100% ONLINE
meeting, and IBM will be helping us make it happen. We still
have many details to work out, for example, anyone who plans
on attending should plan on trying to confirm browser/app
compatibility ahead of time (we'll let you know).

Our speaker is IBM, and our tentative meeting topic is:
IBM AIX Operating System and POWER CPU Update.

Some preliminary/tentative topics to be covered are:
- IBM Power Processor (CPU) and Power Systems
- IBM AIX (Unix) Development Direction
- Focus on enablement of open packages
(Puppet, Chef, Ansible, etc...)

Stay tuned for the full meeting announcement. RSVPs will
still happen as usual, and meeting sign-in instructions will
be sent to the RSVP list. More details to follow :-).
