The progress page for FreeBSD 14.0 has been saying "delayed" since
April. I don't recall ever seeing that before. Anyone here happen to
know what's up? The "executive summary" of why is fine.

AFAIU, there is an in-base upgrade from openssl 1.1.x to
(I believe) 3.0.y where there are incompatibilities in the
API. Devs are either patching in-tree utilities to use
the new API or are updating code to use a 1.1.x compatibility
shim. 14 won't be released until the update is done.
