I'm pretty sure I ran into this before...now upgrading to 11.4 I am told that sendmail.cf has
to be manually fixed in vi and am presented with having to edit a file that says "DO NOT EDIT
THIS FILE!".
So do I or don't I?
As I see it, you have two choices:
-1-: Edit the .cf file;
-2-: Find what changes to make in the mc file, and make them,
so that you don't have to edit the .cf file any more.
These choices are not exclusive. I recommend an excursion through the Bat
Book, possibly coupled with running with one or more debug switches on, and an excursion through the code.
And ...
You might actually describe the problem that is fixed by editing the .cf file, in hope that someone has seen it before and knows how to fix it.
