1) I was able to use COM3 in PUTTY for displaying printf statements from nordic nrf52 programs for more than a month. Last week the PUTTY did not work all the time so I tried to investigate the issue. I saw the following information of JlinkCDC.sys in
looking at Device Driver on my laptop (Windows 7) and would like to know if this JLinkCDC.sys is actually corrupted. I went to driver folder and check the properties of JLinkCDC.sys and found no error.
JLink CDC COM Port (COM3) Properties (JLinkCDC.sys)
Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing. (Code 39)
2) Now I could not on PUTTY terminal - I got error message "Unable to open connection to COM3". I tried to run PUTTY as Administrator and got same error.
