Me too, I have my original 040 mono slab with a SCSI2SD card in it. Back
in the late 90's I ran it out of my dorm room, used to post all the time
to these groups... now its dead...

Yes, many people migrate to social networks, I'm in a Facebook group
"NeXT Computer Enthusiasts", also the discussion forums are being
obsoleted by the boom of these networks, I use my NextStation with the
original hard disk, for now it works, I guess the next thing is that I
enter the internet and navigate with a program, I'm going to take a
picture in these days of the setup

In fact the FB group "NeXT Computer Enthusiasts" and the Nextcomputers
forum are all we have left to talk about NeXT.
Let's keep them alive with our participation, otherwise they will become deserted like this place ;-)
PS: I also use a SCSI2SD on some of my NeXT, now SCSI disks are all
    dying...

Hi Luciano! , if it is a pity that SCSI disks are dying, mine for now
works (I do not know how much longer), but the solution is that
SCSI2SD, although I think it is not cheap, adding to the theme, I have
several CDs with Software, no if it is possible to have a storage
(google drive or any) to put all the software and that is at hand for
everyone, I have not seen anything online.

    regards

mega(dot)nz, for example. Mega gives you 50GB for free (for a single

surely there are other alternatives on the web.

In the meantime a manged also running the next on a VMware machine which

    Henry,

Sehr schoen (meine Mutter wahr in Deutschland geborn, under kann ich ein bisschjen Deutsch).

NextStep in VMware is better than nothing at all! I am lucky - I have a
little room in which I can place quite a few old computers (Sun, SGI, NeXT, Apple). And running a few of them at once keeps me warm!

So I am trying this post in Alexandra.app - found in the nextcomputers.org
    file archive: https://www.nextcomputers.org/NeXTfiles/Software/NEXTSTEP/Apps/Internet/WWW
At least a NeXT computer can still access USENET and gopher, and a few WWW sites with OmniWeb 2.7...

I hope this post is successful! Tschuss!
