  • ITUGLIB Update: git 2.34.0 Released

    Hi Everyone,

    The latest release of git, version 2.34.0, is now on the ITUGLIB website for L-series. Please consult the release notes at:
    https://github.com/git/git/blob/v2.34.0/Documentation/RelNotes/2.34.0.txt

    The packages are:

    * git-ssl3.0-2.34.0-release-nsx.tar.gz - for use with OpenSSL 3.0.0 if you have it installed

    * git+libcrypto-ssl3.0-2.34.0-release-nsx.tar.gz - includes libssl.so and libcrypto.so from OpenSSL 3.0.0

    * git-ssl1.1-2.34.0-release-nsx.tar.gz - for use with OpenSSL 1.1.1 if you have it installed

    * git+libcrypto-ssl1.1-2.34.0-release-nsx.tar.gz - includes libssl.so and libcrypto.so from OpenSSL 1.1.1

    * git-2.34.0-release-nsx.tar.gz - for use with OpenSSL 1.0.2 if you have it installed, because we know some of you are still using this unsupported OpenSSL release. This package is not recommended for use.

    * git+libcrypto-2.34.0-release-nsx.tar.gz - includes libssl.so and libcrypto.so from OpenSSL 1.0.2. This package is not recommended for use.

    Please note that ALL packages are now produced relative to /. Issues reported with the placement of man pages have been resolved.

    J-series is currently in build/test. I will post an update this thread when the J-series release packages have been published.

    The git team has announced that 2.34.1 is due out imminently. I will post the availability in a separate thread when this release is available.
