I have earlier saved a bunch of Saved Searches in the Documents/folders.
Now the searches just say "Loading..."
Cannot move them in the Finder Sidebar either...
Are they broken?
Any guesses what might have happened?

~/Library/Saved Searches
(or /Users/username/Library/Saved Searches)
So first see if the saved searches are still there.
Ia)
In finder:
Navigate to the Users/yourusername/Saved Searches.
Ib)
In terminal:
cd ~/library/saved\ searches
or cd ~
cd "Library/Saved Searches"
then
ls -al
And see what you see ...
II)Hi Alan,
You can re-start finder (which may help):
- hold down the option key
- right click on the Finder icon in the dock and hit "Relaunch".
