simple inertia causes many people to put off upgrading software simply
out of sheer laziness or disinterest in the activity of upgrading rather
than any inherent dislike of newer versions.

Apple kooks
Ad
hominem name calling is all you have, trollboi. Just sad.

I love to _study_ you strange Apple kooks, Jolly Roger.
You Apple kooks brazenly fabricate _anything_ to defend Apple to the
death. Your _entire_ life, Jolly Roger, is a pipe dream fed to you
by Apple itself.
That's why you vehemently hate me, Jolly Roger. I understand why you
hate me, Jolly Roger.
Every fact about Apple from me instantly _destroys_ your belief
systems. That's why I actually pity extremely low IQ people like you,
Jolly Roger.
You don't own the intelligence that God gave adults for independent
thought.

You didn't snip away Jolly's first sentence for no reason. There were
only two! Was it because that one contained "Arlen"? Something else?
I love to study creepy trolls.
I'm a Linux kook. Got a Macbook Air at a Black Friday price because I
wanted my first laptop, and it was about time to experience what a Mac
is. And I wanted that M1 chip. And I had hundreds in Best Buy Rewards
to spend, on something, before they expired. The hardware is pretty
good. Mac OS is pretty good. The Ryzen desktop with Manjaro Linux and
KDE Plasma is still the best.

Not if he's a Windozer. Is he? You sure were. Still? Absolutely must
be, you thought Win10 was *forever* and pounded out THOUSANDS of Win10 tutorials, to be archived forever and ever. And everafter. THOUSANDS!
And still, everyone in the Win10 group hated "Arlen".

Arlen's list of nyms is ever-growing. He creates them regularly -
often in the same thread, like this one, he'll create several, even
replying to his own posts with them - all just to troll. The old fart literally spends hours and hours every day trolling.
It's on point that he responded to someone calling him out for ad
hominem with more ad hominem. He's a lame troll with no game.
I love to study creepy trolls.
Arlen's one of the creepiest on Usenet.

For some definitions of "best", sure. macOS has its own strengths.
Use the best tool for the job.

Arlen seems to think he knows who I am, repeatedly claiming I
supposedly dropped out of high school, failed a GED test three times,
and never went to college (all laughable). He also doesn't know that
I have worked professionally in the software development and silicon
design fields for over two decades, and am paid well as a systems
architect, where I work regularly with and write enterprise software
Linux servers as well as Windows and macOS systems. ; ) Arlen can't
fathom that people who are knowledgable about technology would use
Apple products. His strange, little Apple hate boner precludes any
such notion. He lives in a tiny, dirty, little Apple hate bubble.
It's sad.

Somebody summed Arlen up with "imperious", just the perfect word if
you can choose only one.
Did you read some of his crazy tutorials? So repetitious and tedious.
And always flubbed! With thousands of re-dos coming through the
pipeline, THOUSANDS. And he imagined them as treasures to be preserved
as some "tribal knowledge". At least he isn't bland. Creepy is fun to
watch.

Impervious?
