Office not running under Rosetta - MS put an ARM versions there.

When I simply copied Office (just Word, Excel and Powerpoint
applications, actually over to the M3 iMac, and all ran, I gave kudos to Rosetta II.
It's now clear that I was duped by MS. Looks like they anticipated such
and w/o me realizing it, they installed the new ARM version.
It is not "activated" (I have 4 days left) but they show the license as
being from 2019 (when I bought the copy of Office that's still on my
iMac (i7 2012)). I have those creds (key).
Going to the MS site and logging in there are activation notices, and my licenses (various computers - home and work) are there - but no means to de-activate them.
Another page there says to activate by phone. (2023? Sheesh!).
