• Yet again, Apple proves to have almost zero QA of the iOS software

    Bob Campbell <nunya@none.none> asked
Whereas Microsoft never has software problems, right?

*On the adult Windows newsgroup, nobody blames Apple for Microsoft bugs*.

It's only the Apple newsgroups who blame everyone but Apple for the fact
that _all_ Apple's toy operating systems are known to be extremely insecure, that so many no-click zero-day holes are being exploited in the wild that hackers _stopped accepting_ them!

"CVE-2021-30860 affects macOS, watchOS, and iOS devices"

    Or Google, right?

On the adult Android newsgroup, nobody blames Apple for Google's flaws.

*It's only on the toy OS Apple newsgroups who _hate_ what Apple is*, so much that they try to claim Apple is no better than Microsoft and Google like you just did.

What you hate on the toy OS newsgroups is that facts show what Apple is.
(and it's not what Apple lied to you about what Apple "says" it is)

Nobody lies like Apple lies; in fact, Apple paid over a billion dollars in criminal fines and civil settlements last year alone for their public lies.

"iPhone and iPad users should install the latest OS versions, iOS 14.8 and iPadOS 14.8, to patch the flaw. Mac users should upgrade to Catalina
2021-005 or macOS Big Sur 11.6. Apple Watch wearers should get watchOS
7.6.2. All versions prior to the fixed releases are at risk."

Once again, you prove to have no clue about anything.

And yet large swaths of Apple code are completely untested for decades!

These new zero-click exploits used _old_ *known* existing Apple exploits!
*How bad is Apple at QA when an _old_ hole is _re-used_ by the hackers!*

*Zero-click flaw has been exploited by NSO since at least February 2021* <https://arstechnica.com/information-technology/2021/09/apple-fixes-imessage-zero-day-exploited-by-pegasus-spyware/>

"Tracked as CVE-2021-30860, the vulnerability needs little to no
interaction by an iPhone user to be exploited - hence the name
    "FORCEDENTRY."

On the adult OS newsgroups, nobody blames Apple for mothership flaws.
That's only on the toy OS newsgroups (all Apple operating systems,
particularly iOS which is so crippled it's no better than ChromeOS).

The high tech company with the lowest R&D & highest Marketing - is Apple. (Apple is all marketing and almost zero R&D so that's likely why Apple has never tested their toy operating systems - they let everyone else do that).

And the previous poster didn't blame Microsoft for Apple bugs.

    Nope.

You call pointing out that all companies have products with bugs "blaming".
