    Gutten tag.

    Necro'ing ... 27 years later. Better late then never, right? :)

    There are 3 typos in the list:

    212 SHADOLILL should be SHADOILL
    266 MORIKEEP should be MORIKEED
    769 HURTOXING should be HURTOXLUG

    Also, the list is missing world 1000 EOADIEPERT

    Back in the 90's I wrote a program to generate the world names. Since it has been lost to the annals of time I coded up a new C version:

    For the curious, each world name is broken down into 3 parts:

    * Prefix
    * Root
    * Suffix

    See the readme and source code for details.

    The game won't let you enter in names above 1000 but apparently

    a) One CAN keep playing past 1000.
    b) There are 32,768 worlds.
    c) The last world rolls over to World 0 (hard-coded GENESIS).

    I liked the game, but I couldn't imagine playing it through 32,768
    times. :)
