Owl's "diagnostic expertise" made it so he could not find an add-on he
wants that does exist on Mac. The only thing on the fritz here is Despicable Owl. From what I've seen (which is none of it lately), it looks like the
Mac ecosystem got more sophisticated.

The only way that I could forgive Native irc clients's constant demand
