• Zap question

From Dave@21:1/5 to All on Mon Apr 19 19:09:52 2021
Discussing something the other day with a friend and I didn't know the
answers, so thought I ask... :-)

    Please...
I have a vague recollection from way back when that Zap was initially
developed by Dominic Symes. (No relation AFAIK)

Is my old mind on the right track?

    What year was it?

Is the original developer still alive/around?

    Thanks

    Dave

If you run Zap, go to iconbar menu>help, you will find in it section
    15.3 Credits. This includes

Zap was written and maintained by Dominic Symes up to version 1.35,
released at the end of 1996. Since then, Zap has been worked on by a
larger Zap development team. These include: Tim Tyler, Darren Salt,
Martin Ebourne, James Aylett, Christian Ludlam, Justin Fletcher,
Daniel Wagenaar and Elliot Hughes. Localisations by Jérôme Mathevet
and Benoit Gilon (France), and Richard Atterer and Detlef Thielsch
    (Germany).

There are many more thanked for help.

    Thanks Chris, most useful.

Anyone have and ideas about Dominic in 2021

    Dave
