The man I spoke to implied that there had been a very large number of
people ringing up in a panic because letters had been sent out to say
that they hadn't submitted their census entries, and the telephone
helpline has a recorded message on it saying 'if you are ringing up
because you have received a reminder, please ignore it' -- or words to
that effect!
I get the impression that their first attempt at an 'online' census was
not exactly trouble-free....
