I have a VDI connection that has IBM iSeries Access for Windows and ISeries Navigator on it. There is an ODBC connection setup.
I am able to write sql queries and retrieve data from some tables using the iSeries Navigator.
I'd like to be able to create scripts and execute batches that will run the queries and output the data to files into Windows folders.
Is there a way to do this with just these tools (I'm familiar with sql queries, extracts, etc but not against an AS400 system) or do I need some additional software to be able to create routines that can be executed to produce the output?
