R-Comp is pleased to announce the release of Messenger Pro 9.01. It can
be downloaded via !Store now, and is free to all existing Mpro 9 owners.
The main new feature in 9.01 is support for setting the "Sender" header on
a per-user basis, allowing you to override the defaults to match whatever
your ISP requires. Some ISPs (notably in Australia) have placed
restrictions on their SMTP sending servers based on checking the Sender headers. Unless a specific match is made, you cannot send messages using
their servers. This new feature allows you to specify what Sender header should be used for each user, ensuring that you can continue to send
emails from Messenger.
The update includes various additional bug fixes, and should be slightly
faster to load/use on machines with slower discs such as Pi etc.
