The next meeting of Bristol RISC OS Users (BRU) will take place on
Wednesday 11th March, starting at around 7:30pm (though some of us may
arrive earlier) and continuing until closing time, at:
The Eldon House pub,
6 Lower Clifton Hill,
Bristol,
BS8 1BT.
Meetings are informal in nature, so there is never a set topic - but
some members may bring along their own personal pet projects or anything
else that may be interesting to the group, and recent or upcoming events usually get a mention. As such the recent RISC OS Southwest Show is sure
to form part of the evening's discussion, as is the upcoming Wakefield
Show, which is scheduled for 18th April.
Parking is on-road, but make sure you have some change with you to put
in a meter. For anyone coming by bus, look for those heading towards
Queens Road/The Triangle/Park Street - all a short walk from the pub.
The Eldon House has a selection of real ales, as well as soft drinks for
those who drive, and there is usually food available for those feeling
peckish.
Meetings are open to one and all, and are simply a group of people with
an interest in RISC OS, Acorn, and anything related, getting together
for a drink and a natter - and whether you live in or around Bristol, or
just happen to be in the area at the time, you're welcome to join us.
Bristol RISC OS Users also has a mailing list that any RISC OS user is
welcome to join, local or otherwise - to sign up, point your web browser
in the direction of:
http://bristol.riscosusers.org.uk/
We look forward to seeing you there!
