On sale at Wakefield (that is Bradford) will be circuit boards to allow you to build your own GPS unit. Only £10 each - with full instructions.
Also on sale will be the Impression User manual, as featured in Archive 25:6.
Covering all three versions of Impression (Style, Publisher and Impression-X), the manual is 368 pages, in an A5 perfect bound printed paperback, and is complete with coloured illustrations.
The revamped manual is normally priced at £29 (including UK postage
and packing) but will be on sale at the show post free at £25. Included is an exclusive download link for version 5.13 of the Impression Publisher software which runs under Aemulor.
In a post on The Icon Bar, Andrew Rawnsley commented, “Worth noting this is a (slightly) updated Publisher with improvements to mailmerge, updated support modules for better stability/compatibility, and better behaviour on RO5 systems (opening !System f
older won't cause a crash/error). It still needs Aemulor, but in general is much better behaved, like our updated !Style from a couple of years ago.
"The new version auto-detects whether Aemulor is needed, and will behave/load correctly according to the needs of the platform. As such, this is probably the best and most convenient Publisher release available.”
Another manual is also on sale at £12 - this is the guide to the other applications provided with Impression - namely Equasor, TableMate, WordWorks and SepEd2.
On display will be a GPS speedometer, a 4te computer with a switch to allow dual booting, RingBind and other software such as FamTree (also on sale).
