The Wakefield RISC OS Computer Club regret to have to announce that,
following discussions over the weekend with the venue of the Wakefield Acorn
& RISC OS Computer Show, the event will not be returning to its usual home
of the Wakefield Cedar Court Hotel in 2022.

The over-running refurbishments which had already caused this year's show to slip from April to May have been delayed yet again -- with the result that
the venue is now unlikely to be open until the autumn.

The organisers are currently exploring possible alternative venues which
might allow the event to take place within West Yorkshire on the same date,
and hope to be able to provide further details within the next few weeks. In the meantime, we would encourage those planning to attend to continue to
keep Saturday 21st May 2022 clear in your diaries -- and look forward to welcoming you to a different location for the 25th Wakefield Show!
