Version 1.56 alpha 20 of !Thump, dated 5 Feb 2022, has been released at <http://www.users.on.net/~belles/software/thump/>.

This update adds the ability to use ChangeFSI to render the PNG format.

More importantly, this update corrects long-standing serious bugs
(undiscovered until *very* recently) in the algorithm that finds the
"nearest" !ThumpInfo database to an image.

Thump is a dynamic image viewer which can handle several common image
formats and uses a browsable filer-like display with thumbnails. It can
also display images in a slideshow or save thumbnail views as a sprite or drawfile. It is possible to attach keywords and captions/descriptions to
images and do simple searches on those attachments.
