This month we will be looking at all things in the world of using RISC
OS while on the move. We will have several of the recently released
ARMbooks, a couple of Pi-Tops (v1 and hopefully v2), some DIY options
using a lapdock, the latest RPCemu on x86 laptops (Linux and Windows),
and maybe even an Acorn A4! Plus there will be some of the WiFi
gadgets to help get these systems online.
The machines will be available for everyone to try out as we compare
their strengths and weaknesses in areas such as:
- Size and weight
- Battery life
- Screen resolution and quality
- Keyboard feel, and UK/US options?
- Ease of getting online, wired and especially WiFi
- Speed, particularly when running the new browsers
- Other external connectivity and upgrade options
There will also no doubt be plenty of discussion about what was seen
and heard at the recent RISC OS London Show.
