    From Matthew Phillips@21:1/5 to All on Sun Jan 26 20:34:43 2020
    New versions of RiscOSM and Recce can be downloaded from the Sine Nomine Software web site: http://sinenomine.co.uk/software/riscosm/downloads.php
    The updates are free of charge to anyone who is registered for version 1.61
    and over.

    RiscOSM is a sophisticated map application for RISC OS, based on Open Street Map data, and Recce is an add-on allowing users to retrieve from the internet photographs relating to locations on the map.

    The previous release of RiscOSM was in June, and while there are no major features to report, there have been over twenty bug fixes and a similar
    number of smaller improvements.

    Recce has been enhanced to support three additional sources of UK data:

    * CycleStreets Photomap
    * STATS19 road traffic collision data
    * Planning applications

    Among the improvements to RiscOSM are:

    * more efficient use of memory and better handling of dynamic areas.
    * enhancements to CSV import and export
    * help buttons linking to the manual added to many dialogue boxes
    * bookmarks menu revamped to make editing and removal easier
    * RiscOSM can interact with Thump for descriptions of images with locations
    * some small enhancements to graphs of GPS track files
