**ORGANIZER AT THE 2021 LONDON RISC OS SHOW**

**vCard v3.0 and Iris browser improve data exchange with Google Calendar/Contacts**

Organizer, the personal information manager for all RISC OS platforms,
will be at the London 2021 show with Organizer 2.29b available at
discount prices. This is an updated version of v2.29, launched last
year, with a number of bug fixes. It is available to free to existing
users of v2.29 (please email organizer@blueyonder.co.uk). This version
is also available installed on the RPCEmu emulator - now with easy
networking - to run on a Windows machine.

The wider release of the Iris browser by RISC OS Developments - a
development supported by Organizer - means that for the first time in
several years users can exchange data with Google Calendar and Google
Contacts on native RISC OS systems. This makes it easier to make your
Organizer Diary and Addresses available on other platforms, including
Android phones. To help users make the most of this development, we
have produced new How To guides to take you through the steps. They
are available in the Download section of the Organizer website (www.organizerpim.co.uk/downloads).

Organizer/RPCEmu can now be downloaded, as well as supplied on a USB
stick. With the inclusion of Netsurf, Store and Tapirmail, you can
access RISC OS websites and news, easily download ancillary
programmes, and view email. With a zip file of under 50Mb, it will
download quite quickly to your PC (www.organizerpim.co.uk/buy).
Organizer 2.29 follows extensive work to upgrade the program by
developer Martin Avison. Upgrading the Address Book's vCard format
represents a major step towards secure synchronisation across
platforms. This follows the cloning facility introduced in v2.16 and subsequently improved, and data encryption in v2.26.

Among the immediate advantages are improved Address export scripts,
allowing, for instance, photos to be exported with other information.
The photo size has also been increased from 30k to 128k, offering
better definition photos. There are also improvements in other
sections, including a 32-column, 364-day planner view in the Diary;
new ToDo List menus; and improved messages and help the for Cloning
facility.

Full price for Organizer 2.29b (including email support) for new users
and users of earlier versions is £35.
