R-Comp Interactive is pleased to announce that PiTools has been updated to v1.13, with better support for EtherUSB in the networking section, for
improved experience on older Pi models.
The new version also includes updated Pi firmware to accommodate the
latest Pi(4) boards, and ensure that RISC OS performs correctly on these
units. For example, we encountered a number of recent boards that only reported a fraction of the expected RAM. The firmware supplied with 1.13 resolves such issues.
Additionally, for fun, we implemented a user request for the networking
window to run on ARMX6/i.MX6 so that he could easily remote-access his
ARMX6 as well as his 4te/Pi. Whilst this isn't an intended usage model,
it does now work. Note - we don't recommend installing the extra
components on non-Pi platforms!
The latest version is a free upgrade for existing owners, and can be
downloaded now on !Store.
