The disc cataloguing application !Cat has been updated to version 0.29.
It produces a tree-like graphical view of the contents of a disc or directory.
To find the largest file on the disc, just select 'Show by Size' and the directories and files will be listed by size.
To find files where the filename contains a given sub-string, the display changes to show only the relevant files and directories.
To illustrate the changes in the contents of a disc between two 'snapshots' simply SHIFT-drag the later one on top of the old one. Now it will show filenames in different colours depending whether their content has changed, just their datestamp or show if
they have been deleted.
