• Bristol RISC OS Users meeting - 13th November

    From Vince M Hudd@21:1/5 to All on Sun Nov 10 21:02:26 2019
The next meeting of Bristol RISC OS Users (BRU) will take place on
Wednesday 13th November, starting at around 7:30pm (though some of us
may arrive earlier) and continuing until closing time, at:

    The Eldon House pub,
    6 Lower Clifton Hill,
    Bristol,
    BS8 1BT.

Meetings are informal in nature, so there is never a set topic - but
recent or upcoming news and developments usually get a look in, and some members may bring along their own personal pet projects to show off and
discuss - or anything else that may be of interest. Recent news and
events also tend to form part of the evening's discussion, so with the
London Show only a couple of weeks behind us it is sure to come up - if
you didn't make it to the show, this could be an ideal opportunity to
find out what happened from those members who did.

Parking is on-road, but make sure you have some change with you to put
in a meter. For anyone coming by bus, look for those heading towards
Queens Road/The Triangle/Park Street - all a short walk from the pub.

The Eldon House has a selection of real ales, as well as soft drinks for
those who drive, and there is usually food available for those feeling
    peckish.

Meetings are open to one and all, and are simply a group of people with
an interest in RISC OS, Acorn, and anything related, getting together
for a drink and a natter - and whether you live in or around Bristol, or
just happen to be in the area at the time, you're welcome to join us.

Bristol RISC OS Users also has a mailing list that any RISC OS user is
welcome to join, local or otherwise - to sign up, point your web browser
    in the direction of:

    http://bristol.riscosusers.org.uk/

We look forward to seeing you there!
