    Thanks,

I have many of the following available:

    DS10L (each with 1GB memory)
    DS10 (each with 2GB memory)
I plan on keeping the DS15s and RX2660s for the moment, but those will
    go eventually as well.

    Hello,

I'm interested in DS10 and DS15 but I'm located in France. Where are you?

    Kind regards,
    Marco

I have many of the following available:

    DS10L (each with 1GB memory)
    DS10 (each with 2GB memory)

RX1620 at least 16GB (some have more)
    RX2620 at least 32GB

C7000 chassis with 4 blades (I'll get the specifics later)

    SBB disks 18GB and 36GB

    BA356

Fibre channel interface cards for the DS10 and Integrity boxes
    Fibre cables

If there is interest in any of the above, I will take an exact count and post the configurations available. I plan on keeping the DS15s and RX2660s for the moment, but those will go eventually as well.

I know what I paid for these. What I don't really know is the current value. They are old, but don't have a lot of hours on them since these were used for testing configurations (clusters mostly). These would be runing for hours at a time, not days
sporadically over the years. I have multiples of each.

I'm hoping to get a feel for their value. Can anyone provide a reasonable value to these here? I will post the interface cards separately, so for now just the cabinets with CPU(s) and memory.

    Hi Dan:
    I am interested in th DS15 and/or the RX2620.
At the moment, I really don't have an idea as to their monetary value.
    Thanks

I have sold a few DEC/Compaq Alpha items in the past on eBay. I tend to look at
recent 'completed' auctions to gauge the current market value of hardware. Asking
a price that is outside of the current norm will not make the sale. The cost to
ship is always a concern and a local pickup is preferred to packing and shipping
items of this type. They are usually very heavy and cost a lot to ship. I also
tend to stay away from international and non-CONUS sales because the cost to ship
sometimes exceeds the value of the item. Take lots of pictures!

I consider recent completed auctions as the "price that systems move
at". That does not directly translate to "current market value".

It's quite possible to have things sell / move for a much higher price
than the rest of the market thinks they are worth. This is typical when
some money bags spends way Way WAY too much money for something because
    they can.

The flip side of this is when items are moving for much less than the
normal (recent) market value. This usually happens when something rare suddenly has a much higher supply influx and the seller just wants to
    get rid of them.

IMHO there is some relation between the "moving price" and "market
value". But the former is not a good representation of the latter.

Asking a price that is outside of the current norm will not make
    the sale.

I think an option to "Make an Offer" helps offset that. Of course it
depends if the asking price is near (above or below) "market value"
people will likely be more serious than if the asking price is what
money bags paid to one up his buddy. "I paid X more than you, so mine
must be better!" (There are people that think that way.)

    Take lots of pictures!

Make sure that numbers / names / labels are visible in the pictures.
Please make sure that the pictures are oriented such that the numbers /
names / labels are easily readable.

If you don't want to do pictures, then include said numbers / names /
    labels in the listing.

Make it easy for people to find your item.

    That's my 2¢ worth.

Am interested in the DS10's (not the DS10L's).
I am forced to run native OpenVMS 8.3 (EOL'd layered product never to be updated again), so have to stick with legacy boxes, no Itanium, or Integrity style systems. Bummer.
I would like a DS15, but am guessing they are still outside of my practical budget.
I am in California, let's make a deal.
