  • DEC PDP-11 COBOL?

    Does anyone have any of these documents, I have exhausted online
    searching without finding anything.

    AA-1745B-TC COBOL-11 Installation Guide
    AA-1745C-TC COBOL-11 Installation Guide
    AA-1749D-TC COBOL-11 Language Reference Manual
    AA-1757C-TC COBOL-11 User's Guide

    I am keen to find any early versions of COBOL and documentation for
    the DEC PDP-11 for any of the OSes.

    The oldest version I have found is COBOL-11 v 4.4 for RSTS/E V7
    (although it likely runs on the RSX/RT RTS).

    I ran COBOL under RT-11 on an LSI-11/02 back in 1981. It was
    fun and rather interesting with 28KW memory and 4 RX class floppies.

    Can't say if it "required" it but the system (Terak 8510) did have
    them both.
