    Honestly, the demo was the best part of "Sin", with the rest of the
    game being a disappointment in comparison. That featured level offered
    so much interactivity that it oversold what the rest of the game was
    going to be... which, sadly, was a rather predictible "Duke-clone"
    with an over-emphasis on the sophomoric.

    And while it may not have been the first, it's opening "shooting a
    minigun from a helicopter" sequence set the stage for what is now an
    overused trope in FPS gaming.

    But, hey, more power to the game's fans if they're keeping it alive
    and making improvements to it. They're proving one of PC gaming's
    greatest strengths, and good on 'em for doing so!

    I've read there is a remake -- or more likely a remaster -- in progress,
    but this fan effort is a good stopgap.

    TBH, I barely saw Sin, but the sequel, SIN episodes is unforgettable,
    between the "boobs marketing" and the very questionable design outfits,
    that raised criticism back in 2006 (and compared to nowadays, almost no
    one complained about that back then)... and getting one single episode.

    Going back to SIN, still no news on that Kex Engine version from Night
    Dive?
