• Very very OT: Politics - Israel, Hamas, and Putin

I usually disdain off-topic politics, but this is just terribly important
to me, and y'all are, hopefully, my friends. So here goes...

Russia is Hamas' "closest friend." Direct quote. Marzouk said the quiet
    part out loud.

Analysis: Putin, in concert with Iran, has (likely and unproven) been
smuggling arms into Gaza for months. This is absolutely a proxy war, with
the strategic aim of peeling Turkey off of NATO. Putin is amping the
threat of WW-III up to 12 or 13, after nuclear threats from Belarus
(amping up to 11) failed. I hope the Doomsday Clock people are on it.

Be sure to educate yourself about how asymmetric warfare works, if you
don't understand it. There is Russian disinformation that it is a "war
crime" to attack hospitals. Putin does this in Ukraine, and when he did
    it, it was.

There is a clear clause in the Geneva Conventions that says that
hospitals lose their protections if they are being, for instance, used to harbor enemies and store arms. This is a typical asymmetric tactic (as
well as false flag, ffs). It instructs the attacker to give a warning,
but doesn't require it, because protections are revoked. It's just to
make sure that the attacker is clearly protected from prosecution.

Cogent responses are welcome here, but please no outrage. If you
disagree, respectfully say so. I won't disrespect that opinion.

But understand that this is beyond opinion to me. It is clearly what is happening. God (or whomever you like, even human decency) help us all.
