I remember "Requiem"; I consider it one of my first 'modern' FPS
games; fully 3D, colored lighting, story, the lot. I mean, sure, games
like Half Life or Quake 2 or even Shogo came out first... but those
games felt exceptional. "Reqiuem" was the first of the "new guard";
the sort of games that were aping those trend-setters. But, honestly,
beyond that? The game is forgettable; unexciting weapons, level
designs, AI, the works. It's a game I've struggled to replay after my
first run-through. I don't suspect that it has aged well either.

But, hey, free. It's really hard to resist free.
