I'm not sure but I think this is the first week where Epic has offered >multiple games for free where all of them were repeat freebies. Oh
well. Another Thursday is only a week away.
* Bloons TD6

An Indie tower-defense game, but one you may already have (Epic
offered it as a freebie in December 2022). It looks like a mobile
game, which isn't necessarily a bad thing (if it isn't over-monetized)
but it feels a poor fit for the PC platform. And personally, I can't
stand the visuals.

// I'm cheating by sending this out a half-hour before the //
// freebies are actually released; don't tell Ant. But I //
// won't be at my desk to hit the send button at a more //
// appropriate time, so this post is going out a bit //
// early. Hopefully Epic won't change the line-up ;-) //

Hey, Thursday! You're back! Has it really been a week already? Man,
time's just flying by. What's that you say, Thursday? Epic has asked
you to bring us some games? Well, I can't say I'm surprised, but what
are these games you bring? Don't keep us in the dark, Thursday!
This week we get:

Slightly more interesting, but also a repeat (first offered free on
Epic November 2021). "Loop Hero" is a rogue-like using card-deck
mechanics. Retro-graphics and grindy gameplay don't make the game very appealing to me, but it seems to have its fans.
