The second in the Amnesia series, this one doesn't stray from the
formula. Creep through dark corridors being followed by a monstrosity
you dare not gaze upon lest you go mad. It is not, quite frankly, a
formula I much enjoy; it seems odd to make the focus of a VIDEO game
something you're not supposed to look at. But it's got its niche of
devoted fans, and the Amnesia series is the benchmark against which
other games of the genre is judged. It's not a bad game, just not one
I relish playing.
Anyway, the give-away is in honor of the release of the newest game in
the series ("Amnesia: The Bunker"). "Machine for Pigs" is probably in
your libraries already, though; it's been given away for free before
many times, including numerous keys being thrown up during our Holiday
Freebie Fests. But on the off chance you haven't snagged it yet,
